This weeks Supernatural Saturday is…Zombies!
Question: Why do zombies eat brains?
Answer 1: One place says it’s to make other zombies. Um…No. I’m not going there, nope.
Answer 2: Another site says it’s to keep them energized, basically.
Actually, most of the answers were #1. I don’t have anything witty to add cause, you know, eating brains is just wrong, readers, wrong! Err, I mean, it’s kind of gross. But, I will add this little non-brain-eating-related tidbit: It’s said their saliva infects their victims. Scientifically, in a way, I could see this being completely plausible (wow, I just had a Myth Busters moment there). Eating something that is spoiled or rotten, or, you know, been buried for months and decayed, it’s probably gonna make ya sick. Just sayin’.
Oh, yeah. Another non-brain-eating-related tidbit. Everything I’ve researched so far, the people who’ve given their explanations/reasonings, have sounded as if these things are completely real and everyday things. Now, I’m not going to deny it, because hey, anything’s possible and I try to be open minded. (Plus, I’ve already told y’all I believe in aliens.) However, the zombie research is the first time I’ve come across any animosity towards the question-asker. It’s the first subject that has clearly had any kind of “Zombies are not real!” type message in it. I just thought that was funny.

OOoh interesting. Not sure what I believe about zombies. They’re just… weird. Hmm… questions questions… what makes the living dead… still alive. No body functions, no heart beating… so why are they still up and at ‘em?

I’ve never actually read or watched much in regards to zombies, so I really had no idea what to expect. I’ve seen an episode of Angel and Supernatural that had zombies, but it really didn’t explain much, so I was kind of curious.
Your questions are good ones. And now I want to know the answers, LOL.

Zombies make me cringe, the way they are portrayed in books and movies… ICK! But you do have some interesting questions. I will agree with you, eating brains is just wrong, wrong, WRONG!!
I’ve been researching psychic type people and telekinesis. I want to write a story (or some stories) with some of them as main characters and I think it’d be cool. I want to be like Storm from XMEN (But not the one from the movie… just no. I mean the one from the comic book) and control the weather.
